You should save and upload them as PNGs, not JPEGs. JPEG is a lossy format that compresses the image - which creates artifacts and messes up the colors.
Hello I checked your pack and it looks great! Nice work! I saw you said we may not redistribute. I am creating a RPG minecraft server and will use a texture pack for it. Would it be OK if I used your textures in it? I will credit you somewhere visible in minecraft, the main menu or something and put a link to this page. They will only be able to download the texture pack if joining the server.
Totally understand if you reject, but worth a shot! :)
